The Practice The Workshop About Reserve Your Place

A Guided Wellness Practice

You have been
excellent at
everything
except yourself.

You are more than what is happening to you. Exhale is a unique half-day practice for people who have built careers, lives, and identities around performance, and have quietly lost the thread back to themselves. This is where you begin to find it again.

Reserve Your Place Six participants only

Who This Is For

You stopped being
a person
and became
a performance.

You are good at what you do. You are capable, relied upon, and used to showing up.

But somewhere along the way, you may have lost touch with the parts of yourself that once felt creative, hopeful, grounded, or alive.

"It is not burnout, exactly. It is the stranger feeling of looking at your own life and not recognising the person living it."

You may be carrying the weight of a demanding career or years of putting everyone and everything else first. Over time, a role or responsibility can expand until it fills every room. You remain capable, but the curious, creative, hopeful part of you may feel distant.

Exhale offers a quieter conversation with yourself through reflective creativity, breathwork, and guided pause. Not to step away from your life, but to reconnect with yourself while living it.

If you have ever said "I used to be creative," "I don't really know what I enjoy anymore," or "I just need space to feel like myself again," this is for you.

The Practice

A five-movement
arc, designed
to bring you back.

Every Exhale session follows the same intentional sequence. The creative work is the vehicle, not the destination. What you make matters far less than what you discover in the making. Each movement has a specific function in the arc of the session, and nothing is left to chance.

Exhale
01
Arrive
You are welcomed out of the pace of your day. Breathwork and guided settling create a threshold between the world you arrived from and the space you are entering.
02
Create
Guided creative exercises using mixed media. No prior experience. No correct outcome. The invitation is simply to make something without it needing to be good.
03
Reflect
You see what you have made. A quiet, unhurried practice of noticing without judgment. This is a private space, with sharing entirely at your own choice.
04
Reconnect
Gentle breathwork and quiet reflection on your creative beginning. This movement matters as much as any other. You are not left with open edges.
05
Carry
You leave with your work and with something less tangible: a sense of what it felt like to be present with yourself. That feeling is the point of the whole session.
A note

"I am not an artist" is one of the most common things people say when they arrive. By the time they leave, several have changed their minds. One recent participant is framing their finished piece. The work is not about talent. It is about permission.

The Workshop

What to expect on the day

Creative materials at an Exhale workshop
You leave with something you made, and something you remembered.

The session runs from 9:30am to 1:00pm in an intimate, private setting. Six participants only. The group is deliberately small: the depth of the Reflect movement depends on it, and the quality of the experience would change entirely at greater scale.

You do not need to bring anything except yourself and a willingness to be present. All materials are provided. You will work with breathwork, guided stretching, and a variety of creative techniques across the session. None of them require any prior artistic experience.

You leave with your finished pieces, a light post-session guide for carrying the practice forward, and, if the pilot is any indication, the quiet surprise of having made something you actually love.

Duration 9:30am to 1:00pm
Group Size Six participants
What's Included All materials, post-session guide
Investment $1,800 per person

"They weren't going to come. They came. They intend to frame what they made." From the first Exhale pilot, May 2026. This is what the practice does.

Exhale founder

The Founder

I spent twenty-seven years being
highly capable and quietly lost.

I have practised as an attorney for the past 27 years, including over a decade within a corporate environment. My career required me to be constantly available, constantly accurate, and constantly relied upon. There were also the challenges and demands of life outside work: relationships, personal surprises, difficult seasons, and many things to carry at once.

I was good at my job. But over time, I became more and more defined by my career. I had quietly stopped making space for myself: to create, to pause, or to check in with what I needed. My creativity, resilience, courage and capacity for hope became overshadowed by professional performance.

My own reconnection was never about escaping life's challenges or finding a perfect state of calm. It was about rediscovering my strengths and reminding myself that there was more to me than what my career and personal demands required.

Through creativity, journalling and intentional breathwork, I found ways to come back to myself, regain perspective, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

Exhale was created from that experience: to offer others a guided space to create, reflect and reconnect.

The goal is not to escape life. The goal is to remain connected to yourself while living it.
